During my stay, I faced several inconveniences that dampened my experience. First, the lack of a laundry service was quite disappointing, especially since I expected this to be a 5-star establishment but found it to be more of a 3-star. Additionally, the room was cramped with too much furniture, leaving little space for my suitcase, and the low bathroom mirror made it uncomfortable to use. Finally, the location, while central, turned out to be on a busy road with noticeable noise, which contradicted the peaceful sanctuary I was hoping for.

The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk to Sanjo station and near beautiful temples. The room design reflects a perfect blend of modern and traditional styles, with immaculate amenities. The staff, especially Nana, were extremely helpful and attentive, making our stay truly special.

My room, an Executive Suite, featured tatami flooring, a serene garden on the terrace, and a generously sized bath. However, the placement of the bathroom mirror was rather low, making it inconvenient. Additionally, the busy street outside was a surprise. while it didn't disturb my sleep, it contrasted with the peaceful vibe I anticipated. A few updates to the room layout would enhance the comfort level significantly. Despite these minor setbacks, the hospitality and unique character of the hotel left a lasting impression.

during my stay, i loved that it was less than a 5-minute walk to maruyama park, a beautiful area perfect for strolling, and it was also conveniently close to yasaka shrine, which offered a breathtaking view at dusk.

I absolutely loved soaking in the onsen baths with stunning mountain views and chilling on the cozy sun terrace at night under the stars. The breakfast spread was deliciously crafted with a mix of both Western and Japanese classics. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty, but it didn't take away from my relaxing stay! 🌟
